Mobile phone service provider Safaricom has announced record pretax profits of Sh20.9bn.
The company's pretax profits rose to 37pc while its subscribers' base hit 15.7 million marked by a 27pc growth rate.
Safaricom said that the greatest growth opportunities lay in data services.
